- Find faded witch marks and take wax rubbings. Not suitable for under 3s due to small parts in the prize.
Buy trails at the Bank exhibit; collect prizes at Visitor Reception on your way home.
Children must be supervised. Dogs welcome outside, but not inside buildings.

Dress up in your spookiest outfits and step back in time — costumed interpreters bring the past to life with tales of witches, ghosts and age-old superstitions, traditional decorations and carved turnips. Two family trails, £3.50 each, bought at the Bank exhibit, with prizes collected at Visitor Reception on the way home: The Great Fairy Winter Move Trail (all ages) — find the fairy doors in the town's shops and buildings and spot signs of their baking, sewing, letter writing and laundry; and The Missing Witch Marks Trail (recommended 8+, not suitable for under 3s due to small parts in the prize) — find the faded witch marks and take wax rubbings to restore their power.
